Sonic Unleashed Action figures?

At Toys R Us in the United States, you can get an action figure of Sonic the Werehog for 9.99... A few Ebay auctions have gone up selling him for $40.... The back of the box does not have any other action figures, so I do not think it is a new toyline.. (I am a pround owner of this toy lol.)

Also, the Sonic Unleashed intro video has been leaked... google it.

Another thing of note, on the Gamestop website it lists Sonic Unleashed coming out for the Wii/PS2 on 11/18/08, while the 360 version comes out 11/24/08 and the PS3 version has 12/12/08...

Thinking

I have been doing some thinking lately on just what makes a website. What do I hope to accomplish by having this website about Sonic? Am I trying to gather a comprehensive database on everything Sonic? or am I just having fun designing and not actually putting facts on here? I think this is just a way for ideas to form and for me to have a place to put those ideas. Another question

I have to ask is what is a fan coming to this website for? For Research? News? Nostalgia? Fun? Downloads? Ideas? I want to understand this, I don't know why I started this website in the first place, but what I do know is that I have learned a lot of semi-useless facts about my favorite video game character.

Sonic Unleashed Update

Sega has officially announced Sonic Unleashed and have put up a page for the game. In the press release it sates that Sonic Team has been working on this new "Hedgehog Engine" that is build specifically for Sonic's speed, for 3 years. Sega also unveiled a new video, (haha, the Sonic community screwed up their plans, they had to make another, slightly different video that shows off a new level.) and have a few new screenshots up.. The game has been confirmed for multiconsole release, and is coming out Holiday 2008. Sonic Unleashed

As of Friday, March 21, Sonic Unleashed leaks have hit the internet. There has been 42 images, 1 artwork, and 1 video leaked so far... What do you all think? As for me, I am HYPED! I know that Sonic '06 wasn't a great game, at first it looked like the best Sonic game ever, but failed... I am keeping my fingers crossed for this to bring Sonic back.
